Milan, Day Six 18/04

Today was our last day in Italy, and we visited the city of Verona, which is about two hours by train from Milan, where we stayed. 

We got up around seven in the morning and had breakfast at the hotel so we could leave at eight for Milan's central station. 

To get around, both today and throughout the rest of our trip, we used local public transportation—buses and trains—which are economical and sustainable. 

Once in Verona, we strolled through its pleasant streets and thoroughly enjoyed everything this city has to offer. 

First, we visited the Arena di Verona, a Roman amphitheater built in 30 AD. Then we had lunch in the city center, and afterward, we went to Juliet's House, the city's most famous landmark. After that, everyone was free to explore the city as they wished. While some went to Castel San Pietro, others strolled through the central Piazza Erbe and Piazza dei Signori. 

To end the day, we returned to Milan, and some met up with the Italian girls to explore the city, while others decided to go back to the hotel to rest.

Hoy ha sido nuestro ultimo día en Italia y hemos visitado la ciudad de Verona, que está a unas dos horas en tren de Milán, donde nos alojamos.

Nos hemos levantado sobre las siete de la mañana y hemos desayunado en el hotel para poder salir a las ocho hacia la estación central de Milán.

Para ello, tanto hoy como el resto de días hemos utilizado el transporte público local, autobuses y trenes, los cuales son económicos y sostenibles, para desplazarnos por Italia.

Ya en Verona, hemos paseado por sus agradables calles y hemos disfrutado mucho de todo lo que ofrece esta ciudad.

En primer lugar hemos visitado La Arena di Verona, un anfiteatro romano construido en el año 30. Luego hemos comido por el centro de la ciudad y tras ello hemos ido a la Casa di Giulietta, el lugar más conocido de la ciudad. Tras ello, cada uno ha podido visitar lo que ha querido dentro de la ciudad. Mientras algunos han ido al Castel San Pietro, otros han paseado por las céntricas piazzas “Erbe” y “Dei Signori”.

Para acabar el día hemos vuelto a Milán y algunos han quedado con las chicas italianas para pasear por la ciudad mientras que otros han decidido volver al hotel a descansar.
