Milan, Day Four 16/04

Today we visited Lake Como, a charming place near Milan.

First, we woke up early, had breakfast, and headed to catch the train.

After a while, we arrived in Varenna, a romantic fishing village located on the eastern shore, known for its colorful houses. From there, we took a boat to Bellagio.

When we arrived in Bellagio, we had some free time. We had lunch sitting by one of its most famous streets—calzones and pizza from a nearby shop. We bought souvenirs, walked around, and visited a beautiful park.

Before returning to Varenna, we took a boat again to Lenno. It is known for the Villa del Balbianello, where impressive scenes from Star Wars were filmed. We weren’t very lucky and didn’t manage to visit it, but we enjoyed a refreshing ice cream by the lakeshore, with plenty of laughter.

Finally, we ended the day having dinner at a pizza restaurant. It has been a wonderful part of the trip to remember!!

Hoy hemos hecho una visita al Lago Di Como, un encantador lugar cerca de Milán.

Primero, nos levantamos temprano, fuimos a desayunar y cogimos rumbo para el tren.

Tras un rato, llegamos Varenna, un romántico pueblo de pescadores situado en la orilla oriental conocido por sus coloridas casas, desde donde partimos en barco a Bellagio.

Al llegar a Bellagio, tuvimos tiempo libre. Comimos sentados junto a una de sus calles más reconocidas, calzones y pizza de una tienda cercana. Compramos recuerdos, paseamos y visitamos un bonito parque.

Antes de volver a Varenna, fuimos en barco de nuevo a Lenno. Es conocido por su villa de Balbianello, lugar donde se grabaron escenas impresionantes de star wars. No tuvimos mucha suerte y no logramos visitarlo, pero nos comimos un refrescante helado junto a la orilla del lago, y no faltaron risas.

Por último, acabamos el día cenando en un restaurante de pizza. Ha sido una genial parte del viaje para recordar!!
