Job Shadowing, Day 5 17/04
Our last day at Pietro Verri Liceo has been really interesting. First of all, we went to an IT Class. We loved the distribution and shape of the tables, screens and so on. We think that setup encourages teamwork and communication between peers and the teacher. The project they are working on is a comic made with IA in which they advertise their school. They also played a really cool song they created for the same reason.
After that, we met with, Prof. Donzella, French teacher, who apart from telling us about her really interesting background, also explained the School "Open Days" , and how exciting and important It is for her to organise them and receive and talk to the families who are interested in Verri.
She loved the fact that we have subjects in our school that deal with emotions and feelings. She showed us her 'Tik Tok" account where she posts everything related to School.
Our last meeting was with the "sostegno teachers". This was quite important for us because we dealt with the different needs we find in the classrooms, and even though we all agree on the importance of the inclusion of a diversity of students in the same groups, and although we face more or less the same problems, their government shows much more support supplying many more teachers to cover students with learning difficulties and other needs than our government does.
To end the day, we visited Castello Sforzesco, once more, amazed by the Italian treasures.
