Journal of Aksaray - Day 2: 20/05/2025 by Mónica García and Ángela Aranda

 We, Erasmus students, woke up and had breakfast early to go visit the Abdulhamid Han Fen Lisesi school. This center offered us a wonderful music classroom, a technology room, and a fantastic sports hall with volleyball, basketball, and football courts.

After the students from both countries gave our presentations, the wonderful Erasmus team from the Turkish school invited us to a lunch at a typical local restaurant.

Later, some of the teachers and students from our assigned center, along with us, went to the Ihlara Valley, which offered spectacular views. Afterwards, we took a bus to visit the Selime Cathedral.

Finally, we returned to the hotel to collect our suitcases before going to our respective host families. Once at their homes, everyone was very kind. Some families cooked dinner for us, while others invited us to dine at restaurants. Everything was delicious and they welcomed us warmly.

In conclusion, we were impressed by the hospitality and how warm and kind the people in this country are.

Los estudiantes Erasmus nos levantamos y desayunamos temprano para ir a conocer el centro Abdulhamid Han Fen Lisesi. Este centro nos ofrecía una maravillosa aula de música, de tecnología y un fantástico pabellón con pistas de voleibol, baloncesto y fútbol 

 Después de que el alumnado de ambos países hicieramos nuestras presentaciones, el maravilloso equipo Erasmus del centro turco nos invitó a un almuerzo en un restaurante de comida típica 

Luego, algunos de los profesores y alumnado de nuestro centro designado y nostros fuimos a el valle de Ihlara, el cual nos ofrecía unas vistas espectaculares. Después volvimos a ir en autobús hacia la catedral de Selime.

Finalmente, volvimos al hotel para recoger nuestras maletas antes de irnos con nuestra respectiva familia de acogida. Una vez en las casas, todos fueron muy amables. Algunas familias cocinaron la cena y otras nos invitaron a cenar en restaurantes. Todo estaba delicioso y fueron muy cálidos con nosotros.

En conclusión, quedamos impresionados por la hospitalidad y lo cálida que es la gente en este país.
